Collection: Intraocular vasculitis

Following the incitement of the chief-editor, Carlos Pavesio, to initiate a special issue of the Journal of Ophthalmic Inflammation and Infection (JOII) on intraocular vasculitis, I felt it was worth initiating such a venture at this time and act as guest-editor. Indeed, the recent advances in the knowledge and the investigational modalities of intraocular vasculitis that became available certainly justify such an undertaking. We are encouraging colleagues interested and active in this domain to submit original or review work as well as cases and case series on the topic. To help in this task three other guest co-editors accepted to take part in this project, including Vishali Gupta from India, Ioannis Papasavvas from Switzerland and Ilknur Tugal-Tutkun from Turkey. We are looking forward to valuable contributions towards a successful project and advancement of medical knowledge.
