Patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis associated uveitis (JIA-U), diagnosed using any recognised uveitis diagnostic criteria [e.g. International Uveitis Study Group (IUSG), Standardised Uveitis Nomenclature (SUN), International Classification of Diseases (ICD)] who also meet diagnostic criteria for juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), diagnosed using any recognised criteria [e.g. American College of Rheumatology (ACR), EULAR,, International League of Associations for Rheumatology (ILAR), ICD]


Onset of disease at or before 16 years of age

Adults (defined as age > 16 yrs)

General population without JIA or JIA-U

Other rheumatic, autoimmune or inflammatory disease

Environmental risk factors (including patient, familial and perinatal)
